Corrections Policy

The Accountability Network, operated by the Accountability Network Foundation (Zurich, Switzerland), is committed to accuracy and fairness in everything we publish or place on the public record. When we get something wrong, we correct it promptly and transparently.

How to request a correction

If you believe that something we have published is inaccurate, please write to us at info@expocrime.org. To help us assess your request quickly, please include:

How we review and respond

We take every correction request seriously. We check the disputed claim against our primary evidence and sources, and where appropriate we seek further verification. We aim to acknowledge requests promptly and to respond as soon as our review is complete. If we find that a claim is inaccurate, we will correct it without delay; if we conclude that it is accurate, we will explain our reasoning where we are able to.

How corrections are labelled

When we change material after publication, we are transparent about it. We distinguish between:

Each is noted on the affected item, with the date and a short description of what was changed. Significant corrections are flagged prominently rather than made silently.
